Swimming
Enjoy the warm waters on the beachfront of the resort, featuring the four pristine Ko Olina lagoons, ideal for swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing. Swim in the gentle protected waters of the lagoons, or swim beyond to the waves of the open ocean. For nighttime or fresh water swimming, lap pools and child friendly nature pools are located in the resort.
Snorkeling & Scuba Diving
Hawaii is well known for the vibrant colored fish, marine life and living underwater worlds of coral. The lagoons offer snorkelers a safe environment and a close-up view of the fish and honu (sea turtles) swimming in the shallow waters. For deeper dives, get on board with a scuba or snorkeling cruise and spend the day touring the ocean from above and below. Friendly guides can take you to see humpback whales and spinner dolphins play offshore.
Fishing & Boating
The 43-acre Ko Olina Marina has 330 full-service slips features all the services a mariner would expect from a world-class facility. For boaters, and fishing enthusiasts, the marina is the ultimate experience.
Private charters for sunset cruises, dinner cruises and daytime interisland trips are available. Fishing expeditions for the novice or expert are a great way to explore the waters with a culinary reward! Waters rich in Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Ono, and other fish surround Ko Olina.
Water Sports
Jet skiing, water skiing, parasailing, kayaking, sailing are some of the water sports available on or off-site nearby. If the waves are right, take a surfing lesson or rent a stand-up paddleboard and explore the sea. Endless blue skies, beautiful sunsets and rainbows will accompany you on the open waters.
Island Activities
Golf
The Ko Olina Golf Club offers a challenging 18-hole championship course. Designed by Ted Robinson, the course provides exceptional water features on many holes and no parallel fairways. The Ko Olina Golf Academy offers private instruction.
Island Adventures
If you wish to have an adventure outdoors, you will discover a myriad of island activities and such as scenic tours, helicopter tours, submarine excursions, hiking, horseback riding and more. Go inland to see the scenic landscapes, lush jungles, and tropical rainforest plants and birds. Take an off-road Hummer tour around the island or go on a hiking adventure to the waterfalls and mountains rising above Kaneohe Bay. Local activities are found all around the island that promise to intrigue and delight even the most discriminating traveler.
Landmarks
Some of the most famous landmarks in Hawai’i are located within 30 miles of Ko Olina. Visit Oahu’s southeast coast to explore Diamond Head, the most famous volcanic crater in the world. Diamond Head is located at the end of Waikiki near the Pacific Ocean. Waikiki is well known for remarkable shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. For spectacular snorkeling, take a drive to the beautiful Hanauma Bay and go for a swim with over 450 species of tropical fish. To complete your trip, visit Honolulu, and tour one of the United States most historic monuments at Pearl Harbor.

Several distinct restaurants are located in and around Ko Olina. Roy's Ko Olina serves world-famous Hawaiian Fusion while diners enjoy a stunning view of the lagoon, waterfalls and the 18th hole of Ko Olina Golf Club. Napuka Terrace offers “Contemporary Pacific Rim” cuisine. Try Ushio Tei for a taste of the ocean at the sushi bar, or experience authentic Japanese cuisine in a setting adjoining a peaceful garden. Additional unique restaurants and places to eat are located nearby. An organic market and deli, ice cream store, and more can be found near the golf course.
Luau
